Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share with you two nail art manicures I created with September’s Maniology Mani X Me Monthly Express Kit. September’s theme surprised me in that it was very Halloween-y, so I decided to wait until October to actually use it. Make sure you check out my past reviews of this subscription box here.
The Mani X Me Monthly Box is a subscription service that delivers you Maniology nail art goodies every month. There are two different options: The Monthly Club and the Express Kit.
Monthly Club ($25 USD per month)
- 2 Exclusive Stamping Plates – Just for members!
- 2 New Coordinated Stamping Polishes
- A Surprise Gift Every Month
- Free U.S. Shipping
- Free Stamper & Scraper Set with your first express kit
Express Kit ($18 USD per month)
- 2 Exclusive Stamping Plates – Just for members!
- A Surprise Gift Every Month
- Free U.S. Shipping
- Free Stamper & Scraper Set with your first express kit
So far I have only gotten the Express kit. With shipping ($4 USD to Canada), in CAD the price turns out to be just over $30 CAD, which I think is fairly reasonable. One of the things that I love about this box is that you are given spoilers of the next month’s box a week before so that you can decide whether you want to skip a month or not. You can easily skip a month on the Maniology website without penalty. I love the flexibility that this subscription has!
So let’s get into this latest box!
September: Hocus Pocus
This witch-inspired box is brimming with tricks and treats so easy to use, you’ll swear it’s pure sorcery.
September’s kit came with two cat and witch-themed plates and a fine detail nail art brush that has a beautiful handle filled with purple crystals.
Mani #1
For this mani, I wanted to create a girly but spooky manicure with all of the cat designs on the two plates we received. I just love the black cat theme!
For this mani I started with a glittery pink to charcoal gradient and used a variety of designs from both plates. MXM015 has a big selection of full-nail designs, so I used two of those to do some reverse stamping, and then some other designs to stamp directly on the nail.

Mani #2
For my second mani with this plate I wanted to focus on more of the witch designs, of which there were plenty!
For the next mani I ended up doing a similar sparkly gradient base, except this time a green to purple gradient. I then stamped a variety of the more “witchy” designs in silver onto my nails. Who’s the baddest witch in town?

Final Thoughts
Who doesn’t love a glam Halloween mani? September’s box was definitely a winner for me. At the time, I was sad because they seemed to skip Fall and just go immediately to Halloween, when it was only September. But now that I have used the box, I am super happy! The fine detail brush is also a great addition to my collection.
Watch my video tutorial below to see how it was done!

Disclaimer: I am a Maniology Ambassador (use code SUPERNOVA10 for 10% off your Maniology purchases), however, I purchase this kit every month with my own money and I am definitely not trying to sell you anything. Ambassador codes do not work with this subscription service, however they can be put towards other products, should you want to save some money and support a small scale blogger who puts a lot of money into content.
How cool are your nails?! I’d love to have the skill to be able to do those… and yes I’d rock them all the time!
