Hey everyone! Happy October. Mmmm…. October. You can really feel Fall now! The weather is definitely starting to cool down, finally!
Since the sun has been starting to hide on me, you will see that three of the products that I was loving during the last month are glowy ones. Gotta bring in the glow somehow! And the rest are Fall-favourite shades. I just can’t help it, I throw myself into Fall fully and completely.
Essence Pure Nude “Sunlighter”
As soon as I had heard that Essence had released a new golden highlighter shade, I knew I had to get it. This is the best drugstore highlighter out there, hands down. This golden shade is very pretty, and it pulls a little on the peachy side. As you will see in the swatches at the end it is a bit deeper, so it might not work for those of you who are very pale (although a light hand might help).
NARS Highlighting Powder “Fort de France”
The longer I use this highlighter, the more I am realizing that this might be my favourite highlighting formula on the market.. It is just so finely-milled and gorgeous. It can be worn more naturally, or it can be built up to be really quite glowy. The best part is that it doesn’t accentuate texture at all. I love this highlighter so much that I just picked up another shade the other day for Winter when I start to lose my tan, “Capri”, which is a lighter pink champagne.
Becca Gradient Sunlit Bronzer “Sunrise Waves”
If you were around at all on my blog during the summer, you will know that I was loving this bronzer in the shade “Sunset Waves”, which was a deeper more red shade. Sunrise waves is a lighter more golden version, which is perfect as my tan fades. I love how this bronzer has strips of different shades plus a highlighter in it. It applies really smoothly and adds just the right touch of glow.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick “Toast of New York”
If you read the my post on 6 Fall Lip Products to Spice Up Your Life, you will know that this was my lip discovery of the month. Not only is this shade a gorgeous red-orange-terracotta, the formula is awesome for the drugstore! Lipsticks aren’t something I usually purchase from the drugstore because the weird scents freak me out. But this Revlon formula is so emollient, creamy, comfortable and there’s no scent! I even like this formula so much that I would say it is almost on par with my HG lipstick formula, Urban Decay’s Vice Lipsticks. I will definitely be picking up more of these!
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil “Lucky”
I have been using this eyeliner non-stop, probably for the past two months now. This is the perfect shade for warmer eye looks, which I am of course wearing a lot lately. The shade is a blackened copper and it has copper glitter in it, which is actually so pretty and it doesn’t irritate my eyes when I use it on the water line. I seriously think this is a must-have eyeliner for Fall! They are expensive though… But worth it for how much I use it.
Ooh love the Nars 😍 great post x

You definitely need to try their highlighters if you haven’t already! Although they are pretty pricey which is too bad.

Love affordable highlighters and Essence is definitely on my radar! I love my highlighter from Technic Cosmetics. I got in on Amazon for $5 and it is the finest, silkiest shimmering highlighter of my collection! Great picks!
