6 Fall lip products to (pumpkin) spice up your lifeπŸ‚

Hello everyone! Happy Fall!πŸ‚

In order to celebrate the first day of Fall, I want to share with you six of my favourite lip shades for the season. For this post, I tried to avoid recommending some of the lip products that I continually tout, such as the Anastasia Lip Glosses (Kristen and Toffee would be perfect for Fall, if you’re curiousΒ πŸ˜‹, haha). Instead, most of these lip products have a certain something in common, they learn on the warm side, almost giving off varying levels of pumpkin spice vibes, which are my favourite of course! So, whether you are looking for the perfect Fall nude, or a deeper shade to send some vampy vibes, I’ve got you covered!

If you are at all familiar with my blog, you will know that I am really not a fan of a matte lip, only because comfort is an issue for me. I have very dry lips, so all of my recommendations today will be for cream lipsticks and glosses. Sorry if you are a matte lover!

For each shade you will see both an up close lip swatch, as well as a full photo of me wearing the shade. When I took the full face photos wearing the lipsticks, it was quite a dreary day outside, so the shades will appear slightly darker and cooler than they are in normal lighting.

Becca Glow Lip Gloss “Rose Gold”

This gloss was one of my favourites during the Summer, and I think it is perfect for Fall as well. The shade is described as a copper rose with a soft gold pearl, which I think is pretty accurate. This gloss is like a light nude brown that looks so gorgeous and glossy on the lips. A must have for Fall, especially when wearing more dramatic eye looks!

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick “Fuel”

If you know me at all, you will know that the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick formula is my favourite. The creams and comfort mattes in their line are so comfortable. One shade that I find really unique is Fuel, a warm peachy nude. In the past, I definitely would have thought that this shade is too orange or peachy, but now I totally think it is the perfect nude for Fall. Warmth is the theme here, and this lipstick has got it!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick “Toast of New York”

This is my favourite lipstick find of the month! I really have never gotten into Revlon products, but their Super Lustrous formula is incredible! I would almost say that it is on par with Urban Decay’s cream lipsticks! It glides on so smoothly, is so creamy, and hydrating! This shade in particular is my favourite shade for Fall, a medium terracotta red.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick “Heatwave”

Now this shade is the stunner of the bunch! Urban Decay Heatwave is part of the Beached collection, and is described as a metallic rust. This shade is surprisingly emollient and just glides on when applied. This is one of my favourite shades to wear when I am rocking a neutral eye.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lip Color “Cinnamon Toast”

While the L’Oreal Colour Riche formula is nice, I have to say, I don’t usually gravitate towards it. It’s creamy, glides on nicely, and has reasonable longevity. But I don’t usually purchase them because of the scent, which I would describe as a slightly disturbing plastic-y chemical scent. However, I try to not let it bother me because you don’t smell it after application, and the shade Cinnamon Toast is gorgeous! This shade is more of a medium to deep red with quite a bit of brown in it. If a full on brown lip scares you a bit, this is the perfect alternative.

Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor “HD Arabica”

These Revlon Ultra HD Lipcolors are similar to the other “gloss in a stick” products that have been coming out lately, like the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks or the Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick. And as you can see, the glossy effect is incredible!Β  HD Arabica is a deep red brown that leans slightly on the berry side. This is definitely my deep lip of choice when I am looking for something more comfortable.

  1. I haven’t tried any of these shades but they’re all so beautiful and perfect for fall! I’d say my favorite out of all of them is the UD Heatwave though I do have one of those UD Vice Lippies and I liked that it was so creamy and moisturizing but for me, it was hard to apply and smeared all over my face throughout the day. Am I doing something wrong?!

    1. Yess, Heatwave is such a stunner! That is odd that the one you have is migrating so much! I really don’t have any issues at all with mine moving out of my lip lines, but I’m pretty careful to never touch my face and I’m careful when I eat too. I haven’t encountered any problems with application, but maybe a lip liner would help you!
