Hello everyone! Welcome to my series, The Beauty Sale Scale, where I critique and give my opinion on beauty items that go on sale! Are they worth your money? Have I tried those products? Are they actually being offered at a good price?
I will be rating beauty products that are on sale on a 5-point lipstick scale (as seen below), with regards to how good the price is, whether I know the product is good or not, and reviews of the product from people who have tried it. If I think a product is an amazingly good deal and I would suggest it to you, the product would receive 5/5 lipsticks. If it’s a waste of your time, 1 lipstick out of 5 will be the verdict.
Items that are included in the sale often differ between Canada and the US, so I have made sure to use headers to indicate which items are Canada only and which are US only, starting with the items that are available in both countries.

I have five shades of these eyeliner pencils and I really have to recommend them. The shade range is unparalleled, and they really are pigmented and glide on smoothly. I own the shades Heartless, Deep End, Psychedelic Sister, Lucky, and Perversion. I absolutely recommend Deep End, Lucky and Heartless. Psychedelic Sister doesn’t go onto the water line quite as pigmented (although I’m sure it draws onto the skin no problem), and Perversion isn’t the best black liner (it migrates into my inner and outer corners). I just ordered Alkaline and Mainline this moment, so I think that tells you how I feel! I was very sad that the newest shades were not put on sale, because I really want Overdrive, but it’s understandable. Overall, if you are looking for a colourful pencil eyeliner, these are it!

This is a hair dryer that is supposed to be more compact, and can fold for easy travel. Although lightweight, this dryer is supposed to still be able to produce a high volume of air at soft speed for efficient drying, while adding shine. Overall, the rating of this hair dryer isn’t the best, however, many reviewers state that this is the best hair dryer they have ever used and is 100% worth the money. But be warned, quite a few customers have reported the dryer dying in two years or less, and that it lacked power. Overall, based on the not so great sale price and controversial reviews, I would say this is a pass.

This is a full-sized hair dyer that uses air enhanced with negative ions to produce frizz-free, healthy-looking hair. Overall, customers are loving this hair dryer and most just rave about it being their favourite. If you are going to get one hair dryer or another, this seems to be the one to go with, even if it is more expensive. At least the sale is slightly better, although still not that good.
SUPERNOVABEAUTY Rating = 3/5 It’s not the best deal.

This face mask is meant to be a soothing and hydrating detoxifier to help irritated and dehydrated skin. I believe I have tried a small foil sample of this mask and it felt really cooling and soothing, but trying it once doesn’t allow me to give you too much information. However, there are some very good reviews reporting that this mask has helped some customers reduce the size of their pores, reduce acne and inflammation. Although this mask is meant to be a 10 minute treatment, some customers have used this mask as a sleeping mask (left it on overnight) and it reportedly did wonders for their dry patches! Overall, for the price I really do think that this could be worth it. If it was available in Canada, I may have even purchased it!
SUPERNOVABEAUTY Rating = 4/5 This could be a good buy.
