Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! Even though I prepared this post a week ago, I just didn’t get around to it with being so busy with school. I have had quite a few favourites this month, but these products are at the top!
Colourpop X Kathleen Lights Dream St. Eyeshadow Palette
This has been my favourite palette for all of July! This was the only palette that I used while on my road trip, and has definitely been my daily go-to. In fact, this palette is so well-loved that I was embarrassed to take pictures of it for this post, so I instead took pictures of the new one I just bought for my friends birthday :P. The colour story is truly stunning, and you can get so many different wearable looks out of it! Make sure that you check out my full review if you haven’t already!
Urban Decay X Kristen Leanne Beauty Beam Highlight Palette
This highlighter palette was the only item that I picked up from Kristen Leanne’s collaboration, and I am so glad that I did! The texture of these highlighters is absolutely PERFECT! And I really enjoy the shade selection: “soft rose-gold pearl”, “white-gold pearl” and a “warm golden pearl”. While I don’t believe this item can be purchased anymore, if you can get your hands on it one way or another, I totally recommend it!
Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer “Sunkissed”
The butter bronzer has been a staple in my collection for years now, and this new shade in “Sunkissed” is my new obsession! For the last few years I had been using the butter bronzer in the shade “Light Bronzer”, which actually works surprisingly well year-round, despite however tanned I get. The buildability is surprising! However, I decided to get the “Sunkissed” shade, which is certainly deeper and more warm, and it is great for mimicking a tan. This is always the first step in my bronzer routine now!
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer
This gloss was my first purchase from Fenty right when it released just under a year ago, and I’m telling you, I’m almost through this massive tube! The shade is the perfect neutral shiny gloss for when I am wearing more colourful eye looks, which has been a lot lately. It smells delicious, and the texture is great. This gloss is an overall win, and I will be repurchasing when I run through this tube! Check out my original review here.
Here are some swatches from all of the above-mentioned products! Neutral and glowy seem to be the name of the game!
Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb
Ever since I started hearing people rave about this eye cream on Youtube, I knew I needed to try it! I am always on the search for the perfect eye cream, and this one is pretty nice! For whatever reason I haven’t been able to find this product in Canada, so I picked it up when I was in the US. While this eye cream hasn’t exactly reduced my fine lines or anything, the texture of the cream just feels so nice when you apply it, and I definitely haven’t had dry under eyes since I started using it.
Well that’s it for my July Fave Five! What were your favourite products of the month? Have you tried any of these? Comment down below!
It seems like everyone loves that butter bronzer! I must give it a try myself. The shade of that Fenty lippie is gorgeous!!
I’ve never tried the Belif Eye Bomb but I got the Aqua Bomb in my Sephora bag & I actually wasn’t a huge fan!

Yes definitely!! The Fenty Gloss is so naturally gorgeous! That’s too bad about that Belif product! This is the first thing that I have tried from them and I think it’s pretty solid! All depends on your skin type though!

I always love the PF butter bronzer! It is such an easy go to.
I just bought the Dream Street palette but haven’t tried it yet. I have been testing the new Colourpop Zodiac palette!

I wasn’t really interested in that Kristen Leanne highlighter when it came out, but it’s seriously gorgeous now that I’m looking at your swatches!
I never really thought about buying the Dream Street palette, but the looks that you and Cleia have been doing are really making me want to buy it! I feel like realistically, I’ll never use the crazy colours like the two of you do, and it’ll end up turning out into a plain old neutral palette.

Yes I think that this highlighter palette was seriously under rated when it came out! But it goes on like butter. It might be the smoothest highlighter I own!

And Dream St as a neutral palette is incredible too!

That’s such a great idea!! 😱 I wonder how long they hold on to their palettes before they get rid of them… 🤔 Better safe than sorry!
