Hello everyone! I hope your Monday is going well! It’s been a while since I have posted, so I am going to try to get back into things.
This week’s Eye Look of the Week features the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette. Since people have been jumping on the purple train lately with the ABH Norvina palette coming out, I decided to pick this baby back up. There are a ton of gorgeous shades in this palette, although I definitely need to use this palette more, as I have not yet sampled all of the shades!
To accomplish this look I used the following shades:
- I started off the crease with Desert Sand. Although this is quite a light yellow/cream shade, it actually packs a decent punch with pigment and is great to start off the transition.
- I applied Eden to the crease to deepen it a bit. This peachy colour is another great crease-starter.
- I applied Amethyst to the crease and outer corner to bring in the purple element. I find that this purple isn’t as impressive in pigment as it could be, and requires a lot of building. However, once it is built up, it’s very pretty!
- I cut the crease with white concealer and pressed Twilight onto the lid. This shade is a very thin purple-blue duochrome. Once you pack it on, the blue reflect is really stunning!
For once, it was fun to venture back into a purple eye look! I can’t wait to get my hands on the Norvina palette to dive in even more!
What eye looks have you been enjoying to create lately?
