Hello everyone! I hope that your week is going well so far! Well, it’s the beginning of another month, so it’s time for my Fave Five of April!
Ray Ban Aviator Flash Lenses
TGIF! Time to get out those sunnies! So glad the weather is finally getting a little nicer! ☀️🌷😎 * * * #beautycommunity #beautyblog #blog #bblogger #bbloggersca #canadianblogger #instabeauty #instablogger #beautygram #instapic #instamakeup #instabeauty #igbeauty #wakeupandmakeup #slave2beauty #makeuplove #blogger #canadianbeauty #supernovabeautyblog #makeupslaves #makeupporn #rayban #raybans #aviators
First we start off with a non-beauty item! I purchased these sunglasses almost a year and a half ago now when I was laid over in Miami, coming back from the Bahamas. I was in the vacation mood, so I finally invested in my first pair of expensive sunglasses! However, since then I had really barely worn them since I’ve always had the issue of the nose-pieces rubbing off my makeup! Don’t you just hate that?! Well, I’ve gotten over it, and I’ve been wearing these sunglasses non-stop over the last month. What’s the point of having such pretty sunglasses and not wearing them? They don’t ruin my makeup too much if I make sure that I powder that area on my nose often. Also, if you follow me on instagram, you will know that I just bought another pair, but a different colour and style! I’m into fancy sunglasses now 😛 Ever the collector lol.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
I believe that this was my first Hourglass product. When I got this, I was initially looking for the latest holiday palette that had came out, but I missed the boat. So I decided to get this palette instead. Even though people rave about Dim Light, I am more impressed with Incandescent Light and Radiant Light! Incandescent light is truly the natural highlighter, and Radiant Light gives you a warm, natural bronze. I love how naturally beautiful this palette makes my skin look. So much so, that I will be taking it travelling with me this next week when I go to my conference in Newfoundland!
Benefit Cosmetics GALifornia Blush
I’ve mentioned this blush a few times in the last little while, because it is seriously the perfect spring and summer shade! It is so brightening on the cheeks, and gives you the most beautiful, but natural, flushed look. You need this in your life!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss “Toffee”
All of you should know now that the ABH Lipglosses are my HG, but usually the shade “Kristen” is my go to. However, when I lost it earlier this month after repurchasing it (so angry still), I was left with another nude shade in my collection: Toffee. Toffee is a beautiful brown nude that errs on the cooler side, which I really love for the spring and summer. It contrasts so well with a tan (not that I have one yet)! The swatch doesn’t look that cool, but it is on cooler on the lips. I remember that this was my number one worn gloss last summer after it was released, so I am glad to have rediscovered it!
Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment
If you read my Sephora Sale What’s in my Cart post, you will know that I was humming and hawing over getting the full size of this product. Well, before purchasing this larger size, I used up a full mini, and now I have been using this product for close to a full month. I genuinely think it is helping my skin, although changing over skin care products is a long process, so I have no definitive opinions yet. I have a LOT of acne scarring, and I still get acne around my jawline, so I am hoping that this will help. I have already noticed that I’m not getting as much acne as usual! Fingers crossed, since this is an insanely expensive product!!!
Well that’s it for my April Fave Five! What were your favourite products of the month? Have you tried any of these? Comment down below!
