Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! As some of you, or most of you may know, the Sephora Spring Sale is just around the corner. This upcoming weekend, April 13th – 16th is the first weekend of the sale, available to VIB Rouge members only, who will receive 15% off their purchases. After that, the sale will be open to all Beauty Insider levels April 20th-23rd, where VIB Rouge and VIB get 15% off and BI get 10% off of their purchase.
I think we all know that sales at Sephora are rare, so most of us take this opportunity to stock up on some of our favourite items, or splurge on those luxury items that we otherwise wouldn’t. This upcoming sale has certainly gotten me thinking about what I would like to purchase, but also what I would suggest for you to purchase!
Below, I have listed some of my favourite makeup, tools, skincare and perfume recommendations. While some of these products are on the more expensive side, they are tried and true products in my collection that I absolutely love! So let’s get into it!
Makeup
Highlighters
Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick
These cream highlighters are easily my favourite highlighters that I own. When applied with a damp sponge, they look like your skin with an added glow. No powdery residue, just your skin with a beautiful shine that can be built up to be truly blinding! The number one shade that I would recommend is Champagne Flash, because it is a classic champagne shade that I think would work for most skin tones. But I also own Pink Flash and Rose Gold Flash, which are also so beautiful!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter
This highlighter definitely lives up to the hype. It is such a beautiful shade and I love how buildable it is. You can check out my full review here, which also includes shade comparison swatches to other gold highlighters!
Urban Decay X Kristen Leanne Beauty Beam Highlighter Palette
With this palette being on sale right now, this is an extra good deal! I love the shades in this palette, and the powder formula is actually so creamy! This is the type of highlight that can be built up to be VERY metallic, but you can also keep it a little more on the subtle side. You can’t go wrong with this price though!
Blush
Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio
This was actually one of the first products that I reviewed on my blog! This is one of my favourite blush palettes to use. I LOVE the shade “Peachy Love” and I always mix all three together when using it, but you can certainly use them separately. If you want more information, you can check out my original review here. The one bad thing about this blush trio is the price: you get a ridiculously small amount of product for how much you are paying. Therefore, if there is ever a time to get this blush, it is when there is a sale!
Eyeshadow
Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
This eyeshadow palette is the perfect neutral palette with a twist. The metallics are absolutely stunning, and for a neutral palette, you can get a surprising amount of looks out of it! As usual, the quality is impeccable. In my review I included 5 looks that I created with it, so check out that post if you want to see what this baby can do!
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eyeshadow Palette
After getting back into this palette in the last couple of weeks, I have come to realize what a great palette for spring this is! I featured this palette in week 8 of my Palette Roulette series, and if you checked that out, you will know that I basically had nothing bad to say about it! It is such a great palette that has surprisingly good shade diversity! If you have been craving a cool palette lately, this is the one!
Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette
One of the main reasons that I would recommend any of these mini Huda Obsessions palettes is because they have great value! They actually have better value that regular sized palettes, in terms of the amount of product you get for the price. If you want to read more about this, I use this palette in a comparison in my post on the Kat Von D MetalMatte Mini Palette. Besides that, I think Huda shadows are great and pretty easy to work with. I only own the Mauve Obsessions, but I am sure the other colour themes are great too!
Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot
This is not the first time I have raved about these Chrome Paint Pots. I own the shades Top Yacht, Park Ave Princess and Fire Dancer, and they are all amazing. They might be the most reflective, foiled and metallic shadows out there. To my surprise, it looks like they have come out with more shades!!! I will definitely be getting that pink one! As I keep saying, I will be reviewing these soon!
Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme
While this is not an eyeshadow, I use this product almost every single time I do an eyeshadow look. This concealer has become an integral part of my routine. Metallic and shimmer shadows all perform so well when pressed onto a sticky base, and the whiter the base, the truer the colour! As far as I know, Kat Von D is the only brand that sells a white concealer like this, and I highly recommend it for your cut crease looks!
Lip Products
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick
I really don’t need to say much, as I have raved over and over that the Vice Lipsticks are my favourite lipstick formula. They have over 100 shades available on Sephora, with 6 different finishes, so you are sure to find something that you will like! These are my HG lipsticks, which I think is made clear by the fact that I own 28 of them…
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss
This lipgloss is also my HG. The shade Kristen is my favourite, and I wear it almost every day. What really emphasizes that is that I literally just finished a full tube of it and had to repurchase. HOWEVER, it seems that I have lost that new tube in the last week 😩, so I think I will have to buy it again. That’s how good it is! I also own like 10 shades of these, and you can see lip swatches here. They are so comfortable and wear down so well. If there is ever a time for lipgloss, it’s the Spring!
Tools
Sales are the perfect time to buy new tools! Brushes can be so expensive, but they are something that you really should invest in!
Sephora Collection PRO Featherweight Crease Brush #38
I LOVE the brushes from the PRO Featherweight line. This crease brush is my first brush that I use whenever creating an eye look. It is a larger fluffy brush that is so soft and blends like a dream. You NEED this brush if you are lacking a larger blending brush in your collection!
Sephora Collection PRO Featherweight Complexion Brush #90
This brush was actually the first that I bought from the Featherweight line. Again, this brush is just about as soft as it gets, and I love it for blush, although it can be used for any face powders! I highly recommend it! Just feel how soft it is in store! You can also check out my original review here.
Skin Care
Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
This mask is a clay mask that has exfoliating jojoba beads in it. Even though this mask does dry down all the way, I have never found that it has broken me out. I love to use this on my cheeks, which is where I have the most texture on my face. I have been using this mask for a few years now, and I love it!
Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator
This is the new version of Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, which I had a long love affair with over the last year. It’s a bit on the expensive side, so I took a brief break, but I’m back to it since nothing compares! This new and improved version feels so nourishing when you apply it and it really hydrates my skin. I have oily/combo/dry skin, so it is hard to please all those different zones on my face. This moisturizer does it, and it lays beautifully beneath foundation! In fact, it works as a great primer for foundation. You can check out my original review here.
Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream
While I am still on my forever search for the perfect eye cream, this one is really great! It is pretty hydrating and applies really nicely. The only bad thing is that I go through these jars so quickly, and stuff from Fresh is not cheap!
Perfume
Obviously, with how expensive perfume is, this sale is the perfect time to indulge! I will definitely be researching new perfumes that I want to try during this sale!
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium
Black Opium is by far my favourite scent right now. It is really beautiful for spring. The main notes are: Coffee Accord, Orange Blossom, Cedarwood Essence, Patchouli Essense. That’s right, there’s coffee in there! I do think that it could wear longer on the skin, but they sell a travel size which solves that problem!
Well, those are my recommendations for the Sephora Spring Sale! What are you planning on getting? Have you tried and loved any of these products? Comment down below!

So many of these are in my cart right now! I have the soft glam, vice lipsticks, mauve obsessions, and that UD highlight palette in my cart. I doubt I’ll actually go crazy and buy it all but I can dream! Great recommendations 🙂

I’m always drawn to the mauvey pinks, I was looking at tempered and the shade backtalk!

You definitely need Backtalk! Tampered looks pretty, although from my experience with similar shades, be prepared for it to wear a bit darker than it looks based on your complexion. I think I have Rapture, which is similar, and I remember being surprised with it being a bit darker than expected, but I still love it!

Have you tried the Tarte Color Splash lipsticks? The shade “Salt Lyfe” would be right up your alley. I’m wearing it in my makeup swap post! It’s maybe a titch more on the purple/grey side than backtalk.

I haven’t tried them no, I saw that there’s a $13 set at sephora that comes with 2 though! Ooo that shade does look really pretty! I think I’d like it 🙂

That must be new!! Awesome! I think I own one of those shades, but they both look so nice! I love the formula, matte but not drying.

Daiquiri is a really pretty strawberry type red so I’m sure you’ll love that for spring and summer

I love all of your picks! So many good things in here 🙂 The UD lipsticks are always a solid choice – although I can’t believe you own 28 lol!
I totally forgot about the Tarte Chrome paint pots you’ve been raving about. I FINALLY swatched them in stores, and they are incredible!!

Hehe I know. I’ve definitely slowed down my lipstick purchases not that I have such a stock pile. Those Chrome pots are great, I’ve been using them all week hoping to get a review up for you guys! And it’s exciting that there are new shades!

Lovely list Nova! I had no plans of buying anything right now. I always do my Sephora shopping when I visit US. But I need that ABH Highlighter it is stunning. 🙂 I am still not sure about purchasing anything even though it is so tempting. 🙂
