The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Favorite Place

Hey everyone! This week’s prompt is Favorite Place: “…share an image of your happy place…”

Instead of sharing a place with you, I decided to go a bit more abstract (as usual). While there are certainly places that I love, my favourite place to be is in the world of creating themed nail art. Nail art is my happy place. Also, when I used to live with family, Easter was my favourite holiday. My family was never very religious, but we loved to do not only Easter egg hunts, but clue scavenger hunts as well for a big Easter prize basket! Man, do I miss those days!

With Easter coming up, I decided to create this fun Spring/Easter inspired mini egg mani. Polka dots are so springy, and so are pastels! Later this week I will be doing a full Easter-inspired post with manicures and eye looks, so watch out for that!

If you don’t already know what the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge is, each Wednesday, the Daily Post provides a theme for creative inspiration. All you have to do is take a photograph based on your own interpretation of the theme, and then you post it on your blog anytime before the following Wednesday. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography, which mine certainly isn’t. When you link to the original Daily post article, your post will be linked on the main Daily post website, giving your blog more exposure!
