Hey everyone! Over the last few weeks I have made the decision to change a few things with my blog. One of them is to no longer do Empties posts. I just use so many of the same products and I am so often repurchasing the same things. Instead, Fave Five posts will allow me to share with you different products that I am really loving that month.
So let’s get into February’s Fave Five!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio
This month I was so happy to rediscover this ABH Blush Trio in “Peachy Love”! Now that my collection has grown so much, sometimes some things can get lost. This blush trio is so smooth, pigmented and blendable. It is nothing but stunning, and these shades work so well with my skin tone. I love to mix them all together when I use it. The only bad thing about these blush trios is that they are ridiculously overpriced. As with ABH eyeshadow palettes, you get about half the amount of product for the same price as other products available on the market. Check out my original review of this blush trio to find out more!
Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot
I have been using this shadow pot in the shade “Park Ave Princess” non-stop this whole month. These Chrome Paint Shadow Pots are described as a loose pigment, but all of the shades I have ordered have come pressed and have a slightly gel-ish texture. I love using it as a topper over neutral eyeshadow looks. The bronzey shade is so beautiful and applies well with your finger! I really can’t recommend these enough, and I have already purchased two other shades! If you come across them in store, definitely swatch them! You will be in awe! I will definitely be doing a review in the near future.
Tarte Aquacealer Concealer
This is an under eye concealer that I have been using for a long time. But, for whatever reason I stopped liking it for a bit and was searching for something a bit more hydrating. HOWEVER, I am back on the train. This concealer does such a good job of brightening, and it has great coverage for such a liquidy formula. I’m not sure that I will ever find anything that I like more. I use the shade “Light Neutral”. Check out my original review here.
Covergirl Super Sizer Mascara
This is a mascara that received like one second of hype, and then went off the Youtube and influencer radar. Well guess what? I’m here to bring it back, in however small a way. This is my favourite mascara right now, and it has been for months. The brush is very unique, in that even though it is a cylinder, it is flat on two sides, and has smaller rubber bristles on two sides. It’s designed this way so that you can pack on product with the flat sides, and brush through with the bristled sides. Anyways, this formula builds up so well and evenly, holds my curl amazingly well, does not flake and it’s drugstore priced, so it wins on all fronts. I hope they never discontinue it!
Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick
I have seriously not been able to stop myself from using this cream highlighter since I got it! My favourite is the shade “Champagne Flash”, which is the perfect light champagne gold shade. When applied with a damp sponge, this highlighter gives you the most brilliant, but semi-natural glow. I am truly obsessed, and the glow lasts all day! The effect that it gives is simply beautiful! Since getting this, I have also bought two other shades! I will also be doing a review of this highlighter.
Well that’s it for my February Fave Five! What were your favourite products of the month? Have you tried any of these? Comment down below!

How are you washing off that mascara? I’ve been using it and can wash my face but still have perfect lashes. Mineral oil before and after cleansing is helping, but it’s still hard for me to get off.

Are you using the regular or waterproof version? I find the waterproof is extremely difficult to remove so I don’t like that one. The regular one comes off of me mostly with my regular double cleanse (cleansing oil, then cerave hydrating cleanser, then I may go in with a makeup remover too if necessary).

God, I hope it’s the waterproof one. I didn’t realize that there were two. It explains why I don’t remember having so much trouble with it in the past.

Yeah! The packaging between the two isn’t very different at all. The waterproof one just says waterproof. I’ve definitely almost bought the waterproof one a couple of times!

It’s beautiful! I’m pretty tempted to get another shade even though I know they are expensive for what you get!

The ABH blush palette looks beautiful! For some reason, I don’t remember it getting much hype when it came out like other ABH products usually do.
I’m curious about the Tarte concealer! I’ve heard the foundation has alcohol in it, which is a big no-no for my dry skin, but the concealer doesn’t seem to have alcohol and sounds like it might be a winning product!
I still need to try those Tarte shadow pots in person. They are so stunning!

Yeah whatever hype they did receive was very short lived. I think they got more hype over instagram, but I really don’t remember any Youtuber’s talking about them! The Tarte concealer is great, you should at least try a sample of it from Sephora! You also get a ton of product in there.

The trio looks amazing! I tried the concealer and hated it, then I used it right before I knew it was about to expire and loved it 😐 haha

Oh no! Haha what a funny story. Yes, it is certainly different from a lot of other concealers since it is so liquidy, but it really just works for me! Probably not great for spot concealing, but for the under eye it is perfect for me!
