The Daily Post Photo Challenge: Growth

Hey everyone! For the first Daily Post Photo Challenge of 2018, the prompt is Growth: Evoke the excitement of entering a new year with a photo that shows growth.

What a perfect prompt for the beginning of the year, when we are all taking the time to reflect on 2017!

What came to mind immediately was the huge amount of growth that I have seen in my makeup collection. If you checked out my Makeup Inventory 2018 post, you will know that I only started really collecting makeup in October 2016. Before then, I only owned the basic necessities, and only one of each. I was an undergraduate student, and just getting by every month on my part time job. Almost everything I owned was drugstore. The only items that I used that were high end were the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner and the Urban Decay Naked PaletteI owned no lipstick, no highlighter, no bronzer, no primer.

Now, I own almost all types of makeup products available, and multiple kinds of each! Make sure you check out my Makeup Inventory 2018 post to see the full details of my collection, and how much my whole collection is worth!

Below is just a sampling of some of my collection!

    1. I definitely do not! Especially the eyeshadow palettes! I need to start making a point of using them all. What I have seen one of the girls (rach_darb) I follow on insta do is randomly select a palette and then use only that palette for a week, which is such a great way to remind yourself of what that palette is like! I might consider doing a series inspired by that 🙂
