Hey everyone! This week’s theme is Layered: the interplay of texture and depth.
When trying to relate this theme to makeup, the answer was clear. The essence of applying and wearing makeup is layered. Different products are layered in order to achieve a natural (maybe) and hopefully flawless appearance. We layer some products to conceal or accentuate, but we also layer others to express individuality. I know this is what I am usually going for.
Although our end appearance after application may seem like one layer of makeup to the uneducated observer, us makeup enthusiasts know that it takes many layers to achieve our own measure of perfection. While my makeup may not be perfect for you, I endeavour to improve my skills and make it perfect for me.
