Hey everyone! Welcome back to Wow! or Waste? Whether a whole collection has been launched, or just a new product, I’m going to evaluate whether each product is either a Wow! buy or a Waste? of money, in terms of the price and the amount of product you get.

I have started this series by evaluating the Too Faced Peaches and Cream Collection. In Pt. 1 we looked at the Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette and the Peach Blur Finishing Powder. In Pt. 2 we looked at the Peach Perfect Foundation and the Peach Mist Mattifying Spray. In Pt. 3 we looked at the Primed & Peachy Matte Perfecting Primer and the Peach My Cheeks Blush. If you want to know the value of these items, please check out those posts!

Every day, I am publishing a new post with two more items from this line, so be sure to keep checking back so that you can see whether the item you are interested in is a Wow! or a Waste?

If you want to see whether two more items in the Peaches and Cream Collection are Wow! or Waste? then please keep reading 🙂

✔ Gives blendable, intense color payoff

What it is formulated WITHOUT:

– Phthalates”

Price and Quantity

This bronzer is priced at $38 CAD and has 0.44 oz of product. I’ve got to say, I am really impressed that this bronzer has a good amount of product. Often cutesy products, like this bronzer, actually end up with less product. For example, the Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer has a pitiful amount of product, but is the same price as the other Too Faced bronzers that have double the product in comparison. You can see my full review on this here. Other bronzers that I chose to compare to this Sweetie Pie Bronzer to are the Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Tan ($59 CAD/0.8 oz), the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer ($38 CAD/0.35 oz), the Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer ($38 CAD/0.28 oz), the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer ($63 CAD/0.39 oz), the Becca Sunlit Bronzer ($46 CAD/0.25 oz), the NARS Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer ($52 CAD/0.28 oz), the Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer ($38 CAD/0.19 oz), the Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer ($38 CAD/0.32 oz), and the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer ($35 CAD/0.31 oz).

Here are the comparisons listed from best deal to worst deal:

Rank Company’s Product Mentioned Above Cost ($ CAD) Quantity (oz) Cost-Quantity Ratio for 1 oz of product
1 Marc Jacobs $59 0.8 $74/oz
2 TF Sweetie Pie $38 0.44 $86/oz
3 TF Chocolate $38 0.35 $100/oz
4 UD Beached $35 0.31 $113/oz
5 Tarte Amazonian $38 0.32 $119/oz
6 Benefit Hoola $38 0.28 $136/oz
7 Hourglass Ambient $63 0.39 $162/oz
8 Becca Sunlit $46 0.25 $184/oz
9 NARS Sun Wash $52 0.28 $186/oz
10 TF Sweethearts $38 0.19 $200/oz

Wow! or Waste? I would say that this is definitely a Wow! product, ranking at number 2. I mentioned earlier in my Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer review that the Marc Jacobs Bronzer is at an incredible price, which is extremely surprising for a high-end brand. However, this Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer isn’t far behind it in value! I would say that this is a promising product to try!

What it is formulated WITHOUT:

Price and Quantity

This highlighter is priced at $38 CAD and has 0.44 oz of product. Same as I mentioned with the cream blush in yesterday’s post, depending on the packaging, the amount of product that you get can vary quite a bit, which you will see below in the comparisons. For comparison, I chose the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Creme Highlighter ($46 CAD/0.19 oz), the RMS Beauty Living Luminizer ($47.50 CAD/0.17 oz), the Benefit Watt’s Up! Cream-To-Powder Highlighter ($40 CAD/0.33 oz), the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator ($53 CAD/0.49 oz), the Ciate London Dewy Stix – Luminating Highlighting Balm ($31 CAD/0.17 oz), the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Tarte Twinkle Stick Highlighter ($38 CAD/0.31 oz), the Cover FX Enhance Click Highlighter ($24 CAD/0.17 oz), the IT Cosmetics Hello Light Creme Anti-Aging Radiance Creme Luminizer ($32 CAD/0.23 oz), and the NARS The Multiple ($49 CAD/0.5 oz).

Here are the comparisons listed from best deal to worst deal:

Rank Company’s Product Mentioned Above Cost ($ CAD) Quantity (oz) Cost-Quantity Ratio for 1 oz of product
1 TF Peach Frost $38 0.44 $86/oz
2 NARS $49 0.50 $98/oz
3 Marc Jacobs $53 0.49 $108/oz
4 Benefit Watt’s $40 0.33 $121/oz
5 Tarte Twinkle $38 0.31 $123/oz
6 IT Cosmetics $32 0.23 $139/oz
7 Cover FX $24 0.17 $141/oz
8 Ciate London $31 0.17 $182/oz
9 Becca Poured $46 0.19 $242/oz
10 RMS Living $48 0.17 $279/oz

Wow! or Waste? This product is absolutely a Wow! product, ranking at number 1. If you have yet to try a cream highlighter, this might be a great one to look into. Especially since it is supposed to be a cream-to-powder formula, therefore there’s no chance that it will stay tacky on your cheeks, which can be one of the cons of cream products.

Well that’s all for today’s Wow! or Waste? Were you thinking about purchasing either of these products? Will you go through with it now that you know their value?

    1. Thanks so much for reading again! I have a sample of the primer on the way so I am excited for that! And I’m still testing out the lipstick – might buy another shade 😉
